Midland is introducing a new, comprehensive line of XT handheld radios, operating in the widely available PMR-446 standard.

The offering includes five models and two carrying cases with additional accessories.

The line includes both very attractively priced options, such as the Midland X10 and X30, and models with advanced functionality, such as the Midland X50, X60, and X70.

The Adventure versions of the Midland X50 and X70 are carrying cases with two radios, microphones, earpieces, chargers, and batteries.

All radios feature carefully designed casings, attractive packaging, and, with the exception of the X10, which opens the range, also feature USB charging.

RANGE:

Maximum range depends on terrain conditions and is greatest in open, flat areas.

Obstacles such as trees, hills, and buildings limit this range.

Radio waves propagate particularly poorly within complex metal structures and inside a car.

Average range in a city, among buildings and obstacles, does not exceed 1 or 2 km.

In sparsely built-up areas with single trees, the possible range is 4-6 Km.

In open spaces without obstacles between the antennas, such as in the mountains, contacts at distances of 10 Km or more can be made.
